Aviation Competence Centre / Leeuwenborg Education moves to AviationValley

18-03-2010As per September 3rd, the start of the educational year, the Aviation Technics department of Leeuwenborg Education, part of Aviation Competence Centre will move to AviationValley Businesspark. The new residence will have a floor space of 3000m2, double the capacity of the current location which will offer the growing organization the space it needs to achieve it’s ambitious targets. Part of the building is a 1000m2 hangar for aircraft and aircraft parts interlinked with a number of workshop rooms for trainings related to engine, exterior and avionics maintenance. The building also offers a sufficient number of classrooms for theory sessions and trainings. The remodeling of the building has already started.

The new building will assist Aviation Competence Centre to realize it’s goals of being a full fledged partner in the Maastricht Maintenance Boulevard. The new building lies directly adjacent to the growing number of maintenance companies which are unified under the maintenance Boulevard concept which offers the students an internship within walking distance. As the building also is in the immediate vicinity of pilot training centers Stella Aviation & Air Service Limburg all educational institutions at AviationValley will now be grouped closely together as well.
