Aviation Competence Centre / Leeuwenborg Education moves to AviationValley
18-03-2010As per September 3rd, the start of the educational year, the Aviation Technics department of Leeuwenborg Education, part of Aviation Competence Centre will move to AviationValley Businesspark. The new residence will have a floor space of 3000m2, double the capacity of the current location which will offer the growing organization the space it needs to achieve it’s ambitious targets. Part of the building is a 1000m2 hangar for aircraft and aircraft parts interlinked with a number of workshop rooms for trainings related to engine, exterior and avionics maintenance. The building also offers a sufficient number of classrooms for theory sessions and trainings. The remodeling of the building has already started.

Op het perceel van ca. 1 hectare verrees een modern bedrijfspand met oog voor vooruitstrevend energiebeheer dat dienst zal doen als hoofdkantoor van dit wereldwijd opererende bedrijf. Vanwege de goede bereikbaarheid en snelle uitval naar grote steden in Nederland, Duitsland en België biedt het bedrijventerrein uitsluitend aansluiting op de doelstellingen de regionale mark snel te kunnen bedienen. Door een goede samenwerking tussen alle betrokken partijen werd het gehele project in slechts een half jaar tijd en stipt op deadline opgeleverd. Innovation subsidy for Maastricht Maintenance Boulevard
9-06-200919 Dutch aviation companies have submitted a proposal to SenterNovem in early 2009 for an innovation project in which the companies are mutually developing numerous technical and process innovations in Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO). The Maastricht Maintenance Boulevard acts as the coordinator of the project and serves as a collective identifier in the international marketplace. The group of participants consists of companies housed at AviationValley Businesspark as well as other Dutch companies and educational institutes.

Aviation Logistics Development Company completes quartet of development partners
01-04-2009Maastricht Aachen Airport has signed a contract with the development consortium Aviation Logistics Development Company (ALDC BV) as a partner in the 104 ha. AviationValley Businesspark at the airport. With the signing of the contract the development of the state of the art park is taking a leap forward. ALDC BV is a consortium of VolkerWessels B.V. and Impeerium B.V.

Limburg Province participates and finances Aviation Valley
12-02-2009Today the Limburg Provincial Council has agreed to a role as participant and financer of the AviationValley Businesspark. It is expected the decision will soon be approved by the Provincial Executives.
